Patatas Bravas - Spicy Potatoes

Patatas Bravas is one of the most popular and classic Spanish tapas, consisting of roughly cut potato cubes drenched in aioli and "salsa brava" a spicy tomato sauce with onions, garlic, chili powder, and paprika. This flavorful combination of ingredients is a staple at numerous tapa bars throughout Spain, and it is especially popular as a late-night snack. Supposedly, the dish was invented at a bar called Las Bravas in Madrid, though there are many people who beg to differ. The recipes vary throughout the country and even from one tapas bar to another.
