Sobrasada - Spreadable Chorizo Iberico

Sobrasada is a spreadable chorizo-style sausage from the Balearic Islands made with ground pork, paprika salt and other spices. Not unlike Nduja in Italy, it was brought over from North Africa around 700AD as a lamb product, being manufactured with pork today. It has a characteristic reddish-orange color, which is the result of mixing ground lean pork and pork fat with paprika. Our Sobrasada is made from Iberico pig known for producing the famous Iberico ham.
