Pão de Queijo - Brazilian Cheese Bread Buns

Literally translated to cheese bread, pão de queijo has its origins in the culinary adaptation of African slaves in Brazil, using the native cassava root and grinding it to a fine flour to make edible porridge. Later cheese was added and cheese bread was born. 

Made by hand in our kitchen, Brazilian Cheese bread buns, are so cheesy, so addictive, it is impossible to eat just one. Sold by the dozen, now using a proprietary blend of Asiago Provolone and Parmigiano cheeses.
